A review by Bain of Nvidia’s GTC event last week reinforces their belief that AI has moved beyond pilots to scaled deployment and operational impact.  

A policy brief in Data & Society makes the case against the “technosolutionist myth” that AI will drive massive efficiencies by cutting waste, fraud, and jobs.

  Workforce & Skills  

The Register reports that despite pockets of excellence, Laura Gilbert, former Director of Data Science in 10 Downing Street, commented that many UK government data staff are not “technical” and wouldn't make the grade in business.  

The UK government has begun delivering a series of bootcamps to upskill Whitehall coders into AI specialists.
